The Mother Ocean Foundation was established to educate children and to further their knowledge of our oceans and the enormous variety of sea life beneath its surface. It is important that our children understand how this diverse community of sea life maintains its balance and the environmental influences that impact it. We will encourage children of this generation to pass on to others a love and understanding of the ocean - and freshwater environments as well.

The Foundation was created as an outgrowth of the experiences of Dan Wagner, renowned SCUBA diver and underwater cinematographer. Dan has had encounters with "Sea Friends" all over the world and over 45 years experience shooting underwater photography. He will be an invaluable resource of information for this organization.

Members of the Foundation provide programs for schools and organizations. Presentations focus on interactions with Sea Friends, what we have done to harm our ocean realm, what we can do now and what the next generation can do to take care of our Sea Friends and improve the environment in which they live.

Mother Ocean foundation present goals are to:

* Develop educational and environmental programs for schools and communities.

* Educate through presentations with videos and CD ROMs that are narrated so that speakers can focus on answering the questions children and adults have about the sea and its inhabitants.

* Promote the membership of children and adults in the Foundation

* Assist in the development of a series of interactive and Multi-lingual CD ROMs and storybooks on Sea Friends, the environment in which they live and what we can do to "make it better."

* To make a difference world wide in the protection and preservation of our waters and sea friends.

The Mother Ocean Foundation was incorporated as a 501.(c)(3) organization eligible for grants, tax deductible donations and sponsorships.
